R.K. Jackson is an Internet producer at NASA and previously worked as a senior editor at CNN. He has attended the Advanced Novel Writing Workshop at UCLA as well as the Squaw Valley Community of Writers Workshop.

His short fiction has appeared in the anthology State of Horror: North Carolina, in Penumbra Magazine, and on the NoSleep podcast. His screenplay adaptation of The Girl in the Maze recently won second place in the prestigious Fade-In Thriller Screenplay Awards. In addition, several of his stage plays have been produced professionally.

A Georgia native with roots in the state's coastal low country, he now lives with his family in California's Los Padres National Forest. He has been known to rescue neighbors from snakes and build elaborate Halloween experiences in the garage.
